Privacy Policy & Local-First Architecture

Our Fundamental Promise

EvoPath was engineered around a simple belief: Your personal evolution is your private business. We do not track you, we do not profile you, and we do not store your commitments, journals, or habits on cloud servers.

1. Zero Remote Data Collection

EvoPath has no remote backend database, user account system, or cloud storage pipeline for your personal app entries. When you log daily promises, complete habit streaks, or record reflective journal notes:

  • All data is processed strictly on your local iPhone hardware.
  • No analytics trackers, third-party advertising SDKs, or telemetry tools exist in the application codebase.
  • Your data is never transmitted to or shared with external parties.

2. Apple HealthKit Privacy Policy

If you grant EvoPath permission to access HealthKit parameters (e.g., daily steps, sleep duration, or active workout minutes):

  • HealthKit data is read locally on your device in real-time to update your internal progress cards.
  • HealthKit metrics are never stored on remote servers or exported off-device.
  • HealthKit data is strictly prohibited from being used for advertising or marketing purposes.

3. SwiftData & On-Device Encryption

EvoPath leverages Apple’s native SwiftData framework built on top of iOS hardware encryption (Data Protection API):

  • Your journals and habit logs inherit standard iOS hardware encryption when your device is passcode or Face ID locked.
  • You maintain total ownership of your data, with full capability to export or erase your data at any time.

4. Landing Page Waitlist Email Policy

If you voluntarily submit your email address on our website waitlist:

  • Your email is strictly used to notify you of private TestFlight beta access and official App Store launch announcements.
  • We will never sell, rent, or trade your email address to advertisers or third parties.
  • You can unsubscribe from launch updates with a single click at any time.
